Triggers and Panic Attacks go hand-in-hand with abuse. They were essential survival mechanisms. But they continue even once we escape, as our brain is so used to going into this mode.

But we can retrain our brains, to lessen and eventually stop these attacks. It takes work and time. But you can do it and it is well worth it.
