Training Services

We are thrilled that a focus group we ran with 10 women harmed within the sex industries is now being used to train services in the ‘Building Bridges’ programme run by the Women’s Support Project in Scotland (where prostitution is recognised as violence against women)

Sheffield is consulting on its policy for ‘sex establishments’. It proposes zero strip clubs but no limits on sex shops/cinemas or swingers clubs – usually full of predatory men and prostituted women with rapes reported at Sheffield’s previously licensed swingers club.

It takes just a few minutes to complete the survey. It is especially important the Council hears from those harmed by the sex industries.

National Police Chiefs (the NPCC) are consulting on their ‘Sex Work’ guidance, asking:

• Is Prostitution Work?
• Should Police partner with online Pimping Sites?

It is particularly important your voice is heard if have been harmed anywhere by any branch of the sex industry, support those who have been or recognise the overwhelming and inherent harms of the sex industries.
